The NAS Cubi Point Officers' Club, in the Republic of the Phillippines, was famous for its Plaque Bar, where transiting squadrons retired their old plaques and commissioned new ones for display to commemorate each Western Pacific (WestPac) tour. The tradition of placing plaques in the O' Club bar was started during the Vietnam Conflice and endured until the closing of the base in 1992. Today you can visit an exact replica of the bar, where over 1000 squadron and unit plaques for the historic club are displayed.
